Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A speed-cruise control is now available for trucks from Holdspeed Productions, Called the Trucker, it is an electronically operated electromagnetic throttle-holding device, designed to reduce driver fatigue.

Operating from 24 volts it features a printed circuit and a push-button electronic contra' unit. The control unit is mounted in the cab, while the throttle unit is fitted under bonnet and connected to the throttle linkage by a bowden cable.

When the desired speed is reached, the machine is switched on and maintains a new constant speed. If an increase in speed is required, the throttle may be depressed further but on release the present speed will be maintained. Cancellation of the system occurs by touching the brakes, or by using the cancellation button on the control unit.

Recommended retail price: £24.50 plus VAT.
