Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

INTENDED mainly for spark ignition engines, the Electrotest instrument is available in several sizes to suit the type of operation. The larger bench model incorporates six testing functions in one unit: a tachometer for checking valve bounce, etc; a fine scale idle tachometer to be used when the engine is idling to set up the carburetter; a dwell meter for checking the contact points; a voltmeter for checking the electrical systems; an ammeter covering up to 60amps and an ohms tester. The meter is suitable for four/six-cylinder and six/eight-cylinder engines.

Several -hand-held" meters with similar functions are also marketed.
