A WIDE selection of diagnostic equipment is available from Sun Tester Ltd, ranging from roller brake testers to hand-held portable timing lights.
As an example of the former the Road-a-Matic Mark Ill C is capable of absorbing speeds up to 240km/h (150mph) and horsepower ranges of 0-75, 0-150 or 0-300. An indicator light is illuminated to show whether bhp or tractive effort is being measured.
When braking efficiency is being measured, the machine can cope with efficiencies of up to 0.75g.
