Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I suggest that the motorist or the passenger put his hand flat on the passenger side window so that the driver can see it. Most cars are narrow enough for this.

The lorry may be doing a steady 60 mph and its driver not willing to stop. But if he has a similar warning from several people who overtake him, he would be wise if he pulled to the side and cast an eye over his load.
