• A spokesman for Metro-Camrnell Weyrnann Ltd confirmed to CM this week that SELNEC PTE has placed an order for 12 Metro-Scania integral single-deck buses. These will include the first examples of this model to be built to an overall length of 10 metres, of which four have been specified.
The balance will be to the standard overall length of 11 metres, and it is hoped that the last four buses in the contract will be supplied with the new three-stage torque converter currently being developed by SAAB-Scania.
