• Mr John Peyton, the Minister for Transport Industries, is to consider whether waiting time at docks should be discounted as part of a driver's 10-hour working day.
He made this promise to Mr Marcus Fox (Tory, Shipley) in the Commons, but gave no indication that he might make a change. Indeed he pointed out that it was not easy to assess waiting time.
