Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

QWe recently applied for an increase in the number of vehicles we operate. We are running 20 tractors and 32 trailers and want to increase this to 25 tractors and 40 trailers.

We followed the requirements of the variation to our Operators Licence and advertised. We received 23 letters from local residents objecting to the variation. All but one said that an increase in vehicles would constitute a hazard to road safety.

We thought that these people could only object to the Operating Centre, not the road problems.
