QI employ 14 drivers on tipper work in the south London area. My operating centre is in south-east Sussex. On occasions we get a contract lasting six months or more which means the drivers have to leave the vehicles on site or take them home. Do we need to specify the site as an operating centre and, if the drivers take them home, do they need to use a tachograph?
