QThe Trading Standards officers visited our local quarry weighbridge and took away a large number of weigh tickets, among them mine and those of six other hauliers who deliver stone.
There are many tickets which show overweights and the Trading Standards want to interview us all and are threatening prosecution. Normally when we have weighed we tip off any excess — so where do we stand?
