• Dormobile has been bought by Essex-based design and engineering consulatancy, KBD Group.
New director and general manager at Dormobile, Mike Harrington, says it was not a contested takeover. "Coate Group decided Dormobile was no longer part of its core business and was looking to dispose of it. Now we are here, we intend to significantly expand the business."
Dormobile has been riding high this year with record orders of £750,000 in February taking the total to £2.7m.
