AA WARNING • Operators tempted to buy electronic rust-prevention devices are warned by the Automobile Association that cathodic protection needs permanently wet conditions to provide a continuous path for an electric current.
Chief AA engineer Doug Houston says: "We have not seen any convincing independent test reports on these devices, and we advise people to steer clear of them."
