COACH OPERATORS planning to send vehicles to London for the Chelsea Flower Show on May 21-25 are strongly advised to contact the Metropolitan Police Coach advisory service, Room 618, Tintagel House, Albert Embankment, London SE1 7TT, before their visit.
Because of last year's coach congestion, the police require in advance warning of coach operators' proposed plans. Police will issue permits allowing coaches to set down and pick up passengers at the two coach points at Chelsea Bridge Road and Chelsea Embankment.
The police emphasise that only coaches displaying permits will be allowed to pick up and drop off passengers, and then only at the points stipulated
