A Under the provisions of the Public Service Vehicle (Contract Carriage) Records Regulations 1960, the driver should be provided with a work ticket for the journey. Apart from any other consideration it would support the driver's adherence to the driver's hours regulations. In practice, however, most coach operators running a regular service such as you describe, dispense with the work ticket for those journeys.
