• Vehicle designations in the Foden range have been changed to improve the processing of factory data. The new designations are based on a code which has 11 basic computer spacings and from this code the specification of the vehicle can be determined.
A typical code would be 08R030R2208. This denotes a built-up rhd eight-wheeled rigid tipper or mixer vehicle with a 30 ton gvw, fitted with a Rolls-Royce 220 engine and S80 cab.
