Brimec launches recovery brokerage

• Brimec is setting up a brokerage service for workshops wanting to buy or sell used recovery equipment. The service is free to buyers; vendors are charged a registration fee of £25 refundable against the commission of up to 7.5%, depending on the selling price.
Details of vehicles for sale are stored on an existing database Brimec set up to keep track of its customer's equipment. When an enquiry for second-hand equip ment is received the customer's requirements are matched against the stored details.
Neither the vendor or purchaser need be Brimec customers and details of all makes of recovery equipment will he held on the computer. The company is also able to refurbish any make of recovery equipment.
Vendors give make, model, plate details and price on a form and send it with a photograph to Brimec.
