• Police have charged three people with robbery, kidnapping and false imprisonment and a fourth with handling stolen goods after a truck driver working for Thresher was savagely attacked outside a Sevenoaks, Kent newsagent early in the morning of 28 August.
The gang bound and gagged the driver before heading to West Ham in east London and clearing the truck of drink and cigarettes worth E22,000.
The driver escaped after four hours and police later recovered the goods.
