ere's a story that really appeals to the Hawk. Amtrak Express Parcels of Cardiff is under contract to rush frozen semen from the Welsh Hawking Centre at Barry to bird breeders all over the country.
It seems that artificial insemination is more successful than the real thing — 16 eggs can be produced against three in natural breeding.
The Amtrak franchise is run by Colin Stobart and Diana Courtney who are also entrusted with delivering new birds to the centre.
