Graduated in divisions of rnm, the MB tyre tread-depth gauge gives readings of 0.5mm to 20min.
graduated in divisions of •-mm. It is being supplied to the Ministry of Works for checking the treads of heavy-duty tyres.
When the probe is being inserted in the tread, a button on the gauge is pressed, the shoe of the gauge is placed squarely on the surface of the tyre and the button is released. After the reading has been recorded, the button is used to return the pointer to the zero reading position.
