The 28th system in the Aiphone range of communication systems is for industrial and commercial use, marketed as the NAP.20.M. This unit is mains powered, with an output of 5W, is a master selective system and is specifically designed for use in industry and industrial situations where heavy and constant duty is required.

The master can talk to one of multiples of sub-stations, of which there are two types, wall mounting or desk free standing: speech is by loud to loud in both directions but the hand set on the master can be used, cutting out the loud to loud.

The system has a capacity of 50 stations, has memory lamp calling light and buzzer signal (buzzer and light continue intermittently until call is answered). Speech area from sub stations is 100ft, wiring is by three core cable and as an additional service, mass broadcasting can be made over the entire system.

The unit is in heavy gauge steel and is guaranteed unconditionally for five years.
