• The Minister of Transport has now made the SELNEC Passenger Transport Area (Transfer of Undertakings) Order 1969 This transfers the undertakings of Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Ashtonunder-Lyne. Leigh, Ramsbottorn and the joint undertakings of Stalybridge. Hyde. Mossley and Dukinfield to the SELNEC PTE which was established on Monday, The Order, made on Wednesday, will come into operation on October 1 1969 and provides for the transfer of the undertakings to the Executive to take place on November 1 1969.
