• Bandag has introduced a dedicated trailer tyre, the BTR (E), into the range of precure contour treads for its 'like new' Eclipse System tyres.
Instead of the usual kinked tread pattern, the new tyre has straight ribs and grooves. This, says the maker, delivers even wear, low noise, better stability and handling plus improved durability, All Eclipse System tyres have their casings checked for roadworthiness by ultrasound inspection before retreading takes place.
