The quietest engine on show was a Perkins 4.40 Phaser fitted in a Renault 50 Series 4x2 rigid chassis which returned 75.7dB(A).

The demonstration marked the end of the Department of Transport-led £7 million QHV90 research project into quieter HGVs.
