Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

QAs an owner-driver, I .have been approached by a company to do dedi cated contract work. They want me to paint my vehi cle in their colours. Is this legal, and what happens if there is no work for short periods? Can I then use the vehicle to do other work? jAr, Fishguard.

AFirstly, there is no problem in your choice of livery as long as your operator's licence is in the window and you are invoicing them for the use of the vehicle.

With regard to doing other work, the only problem I see is that other clients may not like to use a vehicle painted with someone else's livery, so you may find other work scarce. I think you should ask your client for a 'demurrage' clause in your agreement, ie, a standing charge payment in the event of no work.
