• A detailed study of vehicle safety standards by the Consumers Association in its Which? magazine praises vehicles from Volkswagen and Vauxhall, which are available in light commercial versions.
Vehicles from these manufacturers, says the CA, "come
out of our safety inspections as clear leaders, showing an across-the range application of thoughtful protective safety design".
Six manufacturers were sing led out for criticism on safety: Citroen, Daihatsu, Hyundai, Skoda, Yugo and Reliant.
