• Cumbrian-based powder tanker operator J&M Casson is the first UK operator to buy a Feldbinder Spezialfahrzeug trailer.
The trailer company launched in the UK at the RHA's Tankcon exhibition in June. Its first sale is a 34m3 allaluminium tank with an unladen weight of 4.6 tonnes, giving a payload of 26.5 tonnes when coupled to Casson's Leyland
Daf 95 Series tractor.
Feldbinder claims the tanl offers up to two tonnes mor payload than Casson's existi trailers, and that it will discharge a full load in just 17 minutes.
The West German design atures aeration pads, with a design life of five years, whi can be changed from the ins of the tank without droppinl the piping.
