Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

MINOR REVISIONS have been made to Volkswagen's LT van and chassis cab range for 1986.

The old LT cab is now fitted with square headlights and has an updated front grille with clearer badging.

Wing mirrors gain moulded plastic surrounds for improved airflow and to help them retain their position on the mirror arms.

The Mel tank gets a wider filler neck.

Inside the cab, a larger steering wheel is fitted and an additional audible warning has been built into the oil pressure gauge.

Although the LT's basic engine and driveline remains unaltered, VW has revised the front and rear suspension on single-tyred — LT 28 to 31 — models to give improved ride comfort.

Volkswagen will be launching a single-tyred rear axle version of the 3.5-tonne GVW LT35 around March next year, hut the new 2.95m

wheelbase LT28 Kombi van and LT5 5 chassis cab launched at the Frankfurt Show (CM, September 21) will not be sold in Britain.

Single rear wheels on the LT35 van increase the loading width between wheelarches is increased from 925mm to 1,370 allowing a standard me tric pallet to be carried between the wheels.

From January 1986 turbocharging, also becomes a special vehicle option on all diesel models except the LT351) chassis cab.

There are no immediate plans, according to Volkswagen, to sell the 4x4 LT in the UK.
