SOMETIME "before the end of the year" is all Nissan UK is saying about the launch of the Spanish-built Nissan Vanette in Britain.
The 1.86-tonne GVW 1.5litre petrol-engined compact van was expected in the UK last month, but its launch has been put back. Delays in gaining type approval are thought to have played a part in its late arrival, although CM expects it to go on sale during November.
Right-hand-drive Vanettes will have an 800kg payload and a load volume of 3.8m3. A five-speed gearbox is standard.
