'HIE QUEEN has appointed Freddie Plaskett, directorgeneral of the Road Haulage Association, as a commissioner of the Royal Hospital at Chelsea, London. He will he a member of the board of the hospital, which was founded in 1692 by Charles 11 to look after old soldiers.
