THE LONDON-BASED vice-president, axles — Europe, for Rockwell International is to be William Laule. He succeeds Don DeFosset, who has been promoted to vice-president and general manager, onhighway axle division, and moves to the group's automotive operations headquarters in Troy, Michigan, USA.
Laule joined Rockwell in 1978 and has worked in its highway brake and trailer axle division as engineering
supervisor, chief engineer and plant manager (at Ashtabula, Ohio). More recently he was director of sales and marketing.
In his new job Laule will be responsible for European sales and manufacturing operations at Rockwell CVC in London and Italy, and Rockwell Automotive (UK) Maudslay and Thompson divisions.
DeFosset will be responsible for worldwide marketing and manufacturing of Rockwell axles.
