Gibb, the chairman of the Road Haulage Association. Mr. D. 0. Good, and the Association's secretary-general, Mr. G, K. Newman, will be present at the R.H.A.'s London headquarters for a Press conference at which details Of the campaign will be given; the object is to encourage traders. manufacturers and public authorities to cut down the time taken to turn vehicles round at their premises. A joint statement will also explain the relevance of the campaign to National Productivity Year, which is to be launched in November.

Although B.R.S. and R.H.A. already work together in some spheres, for example in the anti-theft campaign. this will be the first time that the chairmen of the two organizations have appeared together to promote a common pregramme connected directly with the operation of road haulage.
