Aspart of its drive to attract traffic, London Transport this autumn is to run special services for football supporters. Twenty-four return trips from 40 points in the Greater London area will be operated, converging on five big grounds.
Passengers will have guaranteed seats in the buses, which will carry them back after the matches. The clubs to be included in the scheme are Arsenal, Charlton, Chelsea, Fulham and Tottenham.
