L'UTURE meetings of the i'vletropoliI tan section of the Institute of Transport include the following: November 5, lecture by G. E. Sinclair on passenger transport in Athens: December 3. annual general meeting, lecture by W. Fraser on independent
hauliers and the Transport Act; January 7, 1952, lecture on the complementary use of rail and road transport by A. A. Harrison; March 3, lecture by J. A. Clarke on the Ulster Transport Authority; April 7, lecture on transport administration by M. Robbins.
Meetings commence at 5.30 p.m_ for 6 p.m. and take place at 80. Portland Place, London, W. I.
The Essex group, which supplements thearrangements of the section headquarters and fosters the interest of members who areā¢ unable to travel to London regularly, has prepared a programme for the 1951-52 session.
Meetings of the Metropolitan section's graduate and student society for October, 1951-April, 1952, have been fixed. They will take place at 80, Portland Place, at 5.45 p.m. for 6.15 p.m.
