Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

We were sorry that the information with regard to the sad death, by drowning, of Mr. Edward Douglas Askwith, B.A., was delayed in the post, and we were not able to refer to the matter in our last week's issue.

All who knew Mr. Askwith (and he had many friends in the commercialmotor industry) r were grieved to hear of his death whilst bathing off the coast of North Wales on Sunday. September 12th. He had been wounded in the war, but had no fear of the sea and ventured into what, unfortunately, proved to be very rough water. His friend, Mr. Finnan, who was connected with the same firm, was with him and made many plucky attempts to save him, actually reaching him twice, but, unfortunately, he himself got cramp and was nearly lost as well. Mr. Askwith was sales manager to Shelvoke and Drewry, Ltd., and was a man of unbounded energy and with a business acumen far beyond the ordinary.
