Council in London, following allegations that they broke the capital's lorry ban (CM 29 Oct-4 Nov). Spalding Haulage and Oldham will appear at Hampstead magistrates court on 23 November. Two other hauliers are likely to face similar charges on allegations that they broke the ban, which prohibits lorries over 16.5 tonnes using roads in London at nights or weekends without a special licence. They have not yet been named.
