LEAD-FREE HOTLINE FROM TEXACO • "Fexaco is operating a free telephone enquiry service telling operators whether or not their light vans can be run on lead-free petrol. Callers ask the operator for freephone 2793, and give their vehicle make, model, year of manufacture and engine capacity. They will be answered either by a yes or no — or with a referal to the dealer to discover the necessary engine modifications. Unleaded petrol is available at more than 100 Texaco sites, which also have a list of light vehicles that can be run on lead-free fuel.
