• A sliding conversion for the Ford Transit driver's door is now available from Bedwas Bodyworks of Newport Gwent. The conversion has been developed in conjunction with Ford's engineers, and can be fitted in three or four hours to any model of the Transit, including the latest high-roof derivatives.

White Arrow delivery services has already taken 22 sliding-door Transits, and the RAC has ordered 50 similarlyequipped vehicles. The cost is 2501 plus VAT, and the door can be ordered through Ford dealers, as well as Bedwas itself.
