AT the Public Works Exhibition on November 15, Brockhouse Transmission Ltd will be showing a lightweight torque converter suitable for use with manual-shift gearboxes and engines with torque of up to 542Nm (400th ft) and 3,500 rev/min.
Power take-off with stall ratios of 2:1 to 2.4:1 is available but its main feature is an electronically operated hydraulic clutch which is locked up for maximum efficiency.
