Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NEW freight operators' liability insurance policy has been launched by General Accident.

It is designed primarily for road haulage contractors and freight forwarders and combines in one contract many of the risks, previously written on separate policies, of liability for loss or damage to goods in international transit.

Indemnity is provided in accordance with the standard conditions of trading, carriage or contract of the appropriate Trade Association or other conditions approved by General Accident.

Cover applies throughout the policyholder's responsibility for goods, not only while they are in transit, providing that the 'in transit' element represents the principal part of the risk.

All-risks cover is given on sheets, ropes, chains, etc., up to £150 any one vehicle. E150 is also the limit for clearance of debris, transhipment, removal of goods or recovery charges following insured loss.

The only goods which are excluded absolutely are dangerous goods, documents, livestock, cash and bullion.
