THE transport committee • of the Lancashire County Council is to receive on November 22 a full report on the 12 months' operation of the pilot scheme, Centred on the Worsley.woricshop, designed to provide facts and figures to enable a comparison to he made of the existing and proposed system for the maintenance of county cotincil vehicles. • The committee states: • " A mass of detailed information has been collated from the records kept during the time the scheme was in progress.. But it has been found that hetore a reasonably accurate com• parison tlf alternative methods of maintaining vehieles can he made, considerably more investigation told examination Of the figure's will he net-essary than was anticipated."
