Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

L'OLLOWING the closure of King's Crois Coach Station on October 31 (The I Commercial Motor, October 1), coaches operated by members of PSV Operators Ltd. are setting down and picking up passengers in Midland Road, adjacent to St. Pancras Station. A special dispensation to do this has been granted, and will expire on December 31; the GLC has also made a temporary order imposing waiting restrictions on part of Midland Road.

Urgent negotiations between PSV Operators Ltd. and the Midland Region of British Rail were initiated by the GLC, to provide a temporary off-street site in the Midland Road area, although at the time of going to press a reply from British Rail was awaited. Meanwhile the MoT and the Metropolitan Traffic Commissioner has joined with the GLC in a search for a permanent site for a new coach station. The office of Philip Davis of Kings Cross (travel agents) has become a temporary chart room.
