of Ilford, on .contract to Tunnel I Cement has the first commercial application of the Murfitt moving-bulkhead discharge system to a pressure tanker. It is a Series 700 frameless tank offering a maximum legal payload of 19 tons-1 cwt, when run at 28 tons gross. The tractive unit is a. Gardner-engined ERE of 9-ft. 6-in. wheelbase.
Crane Fruehauf F2 running gear is used for the semi-trailer. Discharge of a maximum-capacity load froni the pressure tank into a silo takes about 35 Minutes on average. and W. Keens have ordered a second similar semi-trailer.
