THE ECE Inland Transport Committee's working party on the revision of the European Agreement on the International Carriage of Goods by Road (ADR) will meet in Geneva in February to consider the amendment of the technical annexes. Governments have been advised that any proposals which they wish to submit for consideration of the working party must be tendered by the end of this year. The Home Offite has therefore held.a series of meetings to ensure that the United Kingclom'S
case is prepared as soon as possible and circulated to other member States.
Further meetings of the Home Office working party on which both the RHA and the TRTA are represented will be held in November and December to consider the relevant provisions relating to corrosives (Class V), poisonous substances (Class IVA) and organic peroxides (Class VII). Very early in 1966 it is also hoped to convene meetings to consider gases. Compressed. liquefied or dissolved under pressure (Class ID).
