Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SEEN here receiving a cheque for £100 and a certificate of commendation presented by (on the left) Mr. Harold Elliott, chairman of BRS (Meat Haulage) and Mr. R. H. Lloyd, representing the customer, is Mr. F. J. Baker who foiled an armed attempt to hi-jack his BRS meat lorry and its load on September 30. The commendation speaks of "outstanding courage En route to Liverpool, Mr. Baker was hailed by a man wearing BRS overalls, who then leapt into the cab, thrust a shotgun into his ribs and told him to drive on for half a mile—at which

point two men armed with pickaxe handles joined them. Mr. Baker was told to drive into a narrow side-street but said he could not stop there because it would block traffic. Approaching a crossroads where he had to slow down, the driver leapt from the cab, leaving the vehicle still rolling forward.

The bandits chased and caught him and although Mr. Baker managed to pin down the man with the shotgun the others beat him until he collapsed. But his cries for help led to a police call and the bandits made off, leaving the shotgun, one cudgel—and the load.
