Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE average battery today was a better product than before the war, but that did not mean that further technical discoveries might not be obtained, Mr. John Oldham, chairman of Oldham and Sons, Ltd., said, at the company's Motor Show dinner in London, last week.

He looked forward to greater opportunities for the company with the growing production of vehicles. In three or four years there would be 6m. vehicles "rolling past our doors every day, with increasing demands for batteries and battery service," he said. It was important for industrial progress, however, to keep politics and agitators out of business affairs.

The dinner was attended by executives of Oldham associated companies in France, Africa, India and Australia, who had come to this country for conference.
