The exclusive features of Trojan

vehicles are almost too well known to require repetition hut note of one or two of the leading points will refresh the memory. Operating on the twostroke cycle, the four-cylindered watercooled engine has a bore of 2i ins, and a stroke of 41 ins., providing a swept volume of 1.488 litres. It is mounted horizontally and has a heavy, built-up balanced crankshaft, incorporating roller-bearing big-ends and plain main bearings.

Constant mesh is a feature of the two-speed-and-reverse gearbox. The rear-axle shaft is solid, the differential being of the frictional-band type which can be locked when negotiating soft ground, snow or ice-bound roads or any slippery surface.—Trojan, Ltd., Purley Way, Croydon.
