Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Space of 119 cubic ft. Low Stand 86

THE two 5-cwt. vans and the four 10-cwt. vans exhibited are noteworthy, not only . for their general smart appearance, hut for the generous amount of body space provided on chassis of moderate dimensions.

On the 5-cwt. type, for instance, the interior dimensions of the body provide 50 cubic ft. of load space, with an additional 8 cubic ft. beside the driver. On the 10-cwt. model the respective figures are 119 cubic ft. and 9 cubic ft., a capacity prObably unequalled by any other van in the sanm class.

Some noteworthy features on the 5cwt. van are the low-loading line, the fitting of hydraulic shock absorbers, a dynamo of generous dimensions with a low cutting-in speed and dipping headlights conforming with the netv lighting regulations. The annual tax on the 5-cwt, van is £10.

On the 10-cwt. model a semi-forward control position is arranged for, a particularly useful feature, which has made possible the maximum amount of space for fitting the body. The dimensions of the low-loading platform are, length 9 ft. 6 ins., and width' 5 ft., a large rear door contributing towards ease of loading and unloading.

A feature worthy of note is that the engine is fitted with a special fuelexhaust system in order to safeguard the goods which are carried from becoming contaminated. Finger-tip trafficators and horn control, dipping headlight mechanism and hydraulic shock absorbers are standardized.

Apart from the obvious utility of both types, the excellent lines, combined with a degree of finish more usually associated with the private car, give them an advertising value which cannot help but appeal to prospective purchasers. The chassis exhibited is of the 10-cwt. type.—Morris Motors, Ltd., Cowley, Oxford.
