an automatic, high security, external hook lock for vehicle cargo doors. The Dover K Lock is key operated, with an option of four different types of locking barrel; Yale, Lowe SE Fletcher, TX98 and Kaba 20.
To open the shutter a key must be inserted — the lock is then activated and the key can be removed. When the shutter is pulled down and the external hook lock closed into the floor, the K Lock automatically locks itself.
To prevent anyone becoming trapped inside a vehicle, Dover also provides an internal safety release mechanism.
