Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• D and D Transport (Dundee) Ltd appeared last week at Dundee, facing four charges of wilful alteration of drivers records. For the company Mrs A. Dolan gave evidence that they had made it very clear to the drivers that any such actior would lead to immediate dismissal. TN drivers had admitted the offences but in no case was D and D charged. The offences took place many hundreds of miles away and the drivers accepted responsibility fot falsifying the records; there was no benefit to the licence holder, and the whole incident she said, had been without their knowledge and consent. Mr H. R. Aylmer, deputy LA accepted the position as stated and administered an admonition.
