rOLLOWING the announcement that the standard ration for private motorists will be doubled for the year from June 1, it has been decided. slates the Ministry of Transport, that the cut of 121 per cent. made in 1948 in the fuel ration for buses and coaches used on excursions and tours will be restored ju full from the same date.
Operators should apply to Regional Transport Commissioners for extra 'coupons to which they may now be entitled.
Hire cars and taxis are also to receive a fuel allocation increased by an amount equal to the increased standard ration for private cars.
