• Dal is extending 95 Series service intervals from 25,000 to 40,000km, provided that operating conditions are favorable and automatic chassis lubrication is fitted. Leyland Dal is expected to follow suit in the UK.
Leyland Daf says that its dealers
have cut over an hour off the time taken to repair trucks.
In January 1992 they took an average I hr 54 mm from call-out to the completion of repair at the roadside, it says, compared with 2hr 58 min in January 1991.
